[resolved] No Data on January 19 and 20, 2013 (8 posts)

    This is the second time I have had a problem with Slim Stat. The first time was in November and now it's the same problem. I have no information for January 19 or 20 - I am very frustrated especially as these are two times when I posted significant blogs and I received a lot of feedback on other social platforms. It sure would be nice to have the statistics working. You constantly send updates and I download them. So how about if the package actually does what it is supposed to do? Keep track of data.

    When will this work? I already know it does not capture information for the "lost days" and that, too, is maddening.

    please do not forget that you get all of this for FREE, and even if I'm really sorry for the inconvenience, you should know that I'm doing my best to address the issue. A temporary workaround is to disable JavaScript Mode in the options, which seems to make SlimStat work again. Also, I'm working on a fix, if you want to test it in advance, please contact me at

    Hi Camu...

    Thanks for all you're doing with this. I run WP slimstats on several of my clients' sites and they all love it.

    I have had some queries recently though, about why the past couple of days are missing on the graph - even though it does appear to be recording visits and stats. I tried turning off Javascript, as you suggested above, but to no avail. So I'll listen out for your update with relish.

    I tried to send you the new version, but I got this error message back

    Technical details of permanent failure:
    Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 554 554 5.7.0 Message Size Violation (state 17).

    Can you please provide an alternate email address where I can send you the zip file?

    Hi there, I really appreciate your words :) I could use some test environments to see if the new code is finally addressing the issue. I have narrowed the issue down to a conflict with another plugin, which is overwriting WP SlimStat variables (when JS Mode is on).

    Since I don't have this plugin on my dev server, I cannot reproduce the issue.

    Would it be possible to get access to your WP setup to run some tests? I promise I won't break anything :)

    a new version has just been released, which fixes the problem according to my tests. Please feel free to upgrade and report back to confirm that the issue is now resolved.
