Currently this is a local WordPress install on a Ubuntu server that I’m hosting. I have the “Seriously Simple Podcasting” plug-in up and working great. Had to manually copy over the plug-in as it’s not currently accessibly on the internet, Internal teams only at this time. But all is good. I did the same process to install the “seriously Simple Stats” plug-in, and activated it, all went well. However when I went to the stats page I don’t get anything. I have gone to different clients and downloaded some podcast episodes but still nothing shows up. Just “No Stats Yet :)” on the page. Is there anything I’m missing? are there some permission that it might need that I don’t have setup on my local install? Any direction you can provide would be great.

If you are still not getting any stats then please check your server permissions, as this plugin needs to create (and write to) an additional database table in order to record stats.

Other than that, if you are not using the built-in URLs for your episode downloads (i.e. the URLs that include the podcast-download string) then the stats will not be tracked.

Hi Hugh,

I’m also having problems with the stats on our podcast (http://www.nicosiacf.com/?series=casting-the-truth).

I don’t see ‘podcast-download’ in the url string. e.g. ‘http://www.nicosiacf.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/1999-05-02_JP_I-am-with-you-always.mp3?_=8’

As I am new to WP, Do I have to change something in the WP settings?
