    Hi camu,

today I found that Slimstat does not give me any data at all any more. I already looked inside my tables, it seems the tracking stopped right after I updated to 4.0.1. and then 4.0.2 ~14hrs ago; but that I can only estimate.

Also, before, my visitors seemed to use only Safari as a browser, and only one or two OS and other indicators that tracking was somewhat incomplete. Maybe I should have posted something here before, but anyways, it could be of interest now. As a theme, I use Bridge by Qode (from ThemeForest).

I would be very happy if you could look into it: http://de.movemeta.org

    Best

    Hi,

Could you please make sure you have the latest version? Also, do you have any Tracker Errors in Settings > Maintenance?

    Hi there,

yes, we are up to date, I double-checked it.

Under Settings > Maintenance, there is one tracker error:
    211 Bot not tracked recorded on 14.05.2015 @ 09.21

What’s more, all data seems to be lost

    (mm2_slim_stats 1 bytes (0 Datensätze)
    mm2_slim_events 48.12 KB (1,382 Datensätze)
    mm2_slim_stats_archive 1 bytes (0 Datensätze)

…but there were still loads of data in the mm2_ tables, so that I do not understand at all… or am I confusing things here?

    Hi,

    we’re taking a look at your site…

Okay, you have something blocking access to admin-ajax.php. I just visited your page, and I got this error message in the network activity with the server:

Sorry [MY IP ADDRESS], your request cannot be proceeded.
For security reason, it was blocked and logged.

Once you solve this problem, the tracker will start working again.

    Hi,

I had the exact same issue…upgraded to version 4.0.2 and all my past data were lost.

I have the same tracking error under Settings>Maintenance.

Could you check my site as well? If I have the same blocking on admin-ajax.php – who do you go to get that fixed? Is it an internet provider issue or something in my computer set-up?

I did have a firewall turned on…could that be it? I have now turned it off.

Is there anyway to retrieve the lost data?

@sarahsbookshelves, what’s the URL? As for the data not imported, we might be able to help you retrieve it from your database.

    Hi camu,

yes, that was NinjaFirewall, another plugin I really love. Somehow it doesn’t like your recent update, however. I posted the problem in their support section as well. Since they have just as great support as you always give, I am sure things will work out. I will keep you posted.

    Thanks
    Manuel

    Thank you, Manuel!

Thank you! The update looks like it’s working properly now as far as current stats…it’s the older stats that are gone. Everything from earlier today on back…

@sarahsbookshelves , Is this a multisite installation? How many entries did you have before the upgrade? More than 750,000? Contact our support team, we might be able to help.

I’m sorry, I’m not sure what you mean by multisite installation? I have one website I run through WordPress, if that’s what you mean.

And, I’m not sure what you mean by entries…can you elaborate? I’m sorry – I’m not that tech savvy.

So, I allowed the Base64-encoded injections. However, all old data seems lost at this moment. I will contact your support staff, as advised above.

    Sure.
