No Data

Hi!
I just want to have a look at one of my levels, so I go to admin-area, select “User Access” from the admin-menu, get a list of levels, klick on “Edit” – and no data is shown anywhere. I see the options-widget where I want to change the redirected page, but there is only on page listed, the one which where redirected before. Tried another level – same behaviour.
So, what’s happend? My Update-log registrated the last update of Widget Logic on November 14th. My be a big bug?
Thanks for nearly update! Can’t attach a screenshot…

Yes, same issue for me since updating the plugin.
There is no information being displayed in the tabs on edit page, with either existing rules or a new rule.
Same in WP 4.83 and 4.9….
I’m rethinking my usage of this plugin, can’t afford to have it go down in production.
Thank you for reporting this.
Can you both show me a screenshot of the problem? It sounds like they might not be related. You can use imgur.com for the images.
You can find a screenshot here: http://sol-ist.de/shares/screenshot.png
I don’t know, if this can help or is maybe a hint to solve:
When I’m working in menues, I can’t open the widget “Posts” or “Individual Links” to build a menu topic. But I can create menue topics out of the open widget “pages” and I can save the menu.
Also doesn’t happened anything if I click on “Edit view” or “Help” on the upper right corner of the screen.
And I didn’t see anything than a hint of my theme (upper left area of the screen) in the customizer.
So, my idea is that a plugin cause this. I deactivated yours, but that changes nothing. Also the deactivation of the plugins that came with upgrades within the last 3 days (and I’m sure at this time your plugin worked well), “widget logic” and “bbp style pack” doesn’t change the behaviour at least of the customizer. So only the update to WP 4.9 is at last. But the customizer works well in a single installation of WP 4.9 as well as on a user site of my multisite installation.
I will post this in wp-forum, too. But as said, maybe that’s a hint for you…
Thank you for the screenshot and for the details, it definitely helps!
In the screenshot it’s clear to me that the problem is caused by a JavaScript conflict. Did you recently update your theme?
To rule out any caching issue, try to clear your browser cache, go to the Level edit page and press CTRL F5 (hard refresh)
I am having the same problem and have cleared cache and done a hard refresh. Same visual results as the screenshot from @nikelaos above. There are a couple javascript errors on the page.
Error: No select2/data/ruaAdapter in select2.js @ line1415
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404, …/wp-content/plugins/restrict-user-access/lib/wp-content-aware-engine/assets/js/backbone.epoxy.min.map
I have verified that the .map file doesn’t exist in the plugin installation and is not present on my server in that location which is the same location as the backbone.epoxy.min.js file.
Thanks for this info! If you move the cursor over “select2.js @ line1415”, you should be able to see a full path to the file and reveal the name of the plugin (of if it is the theme) loading that script.
Edit:
The “missing” .map file should not be a problem. I think that error just shows up because the first causes a cascade of errors.

So, here’s my update:
1) I’ve changed the theme to twenty seventeen: your plugin works, I can edit menues; Customizer don’t work and still the “Actualize”-button in the page edit-screen doesn’t appear.
2) Back to the old theme for crosschecking – well, it works like under Twenty seventeen.
3) 4 plugins where updated in the meanwhile… yours not – but what have those to do with the “Actualize”-button or the customizer? So, well, I’m running out now of explanations and ideas. I think I can’t nothing else do than wait and drinking some tea till the problems solves out from themselves… 😉
Next Update (don’t know if this is relevant):
When I edit a page, I can see, that there’s no reload-symbol in the right of my address-field in my Firefox 56-browser. That’s on all tabs! When I close my site, I can see the reload-symbol again. The Web-console shows:
[Exception… “Component returned failure code: 0x80070057 (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE) [nsIDOMWindowUtils.addSheet]” nsresult: “0x80070057 (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE)” location: “JS frame :: resource://gre/modules/ExtensionUtils.jsm :: runSafeSyncWithoutClone :: line 61” data: no] (unbekannt)

TypeError: e is undefined[Weitere Informationen] load-scripts.php:661:1538Does this help? I post this because there might be a general bug anywhere, just: may be…
Don’t know if it’s relevant, but there’s a known bug using formal languages such as de_DE_formal: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/read-this-first-wordpress-4-9-master-list/#post-9687605
So the behaviour of your plugin might be a consequence out of this problem?
Now I can mark this problem as solved: As in the ticket mentioned, I changed the language in my Profile from “Website-Adjustment” (“Website-Einstellung”) to “Deutsch”.
Now everything works fine and 4.9.1 will solve this problem.
Thanks and may this be a help for others.
Sounds like the cup of tea helped! 🙂
I just tried switching language to Deutsch (Sie) on a test site, and I can confirm that this will cause the Level Edit page to malfunction. Unfortunately I don’t think I can resolve this problem in the plugin itself, so changing to another translation is currently the only way of fixing it.
Thanks for updating me on it and finding the cause of the problem.
Can you confirm that the cause of the problem is not the same as stated above? If you move your cursor over the “select2.js” in the error message, could you tell me what the full path is?
