I am unable to resolve the inability to login to my client's dashboard. Please help! I've tried numerous things, including the following:

    1. Resetting my password both through the automatic emailer, phpMyAdmin, FTP, Emergency Password Reset and creating a new wp-login.php file. (http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password)

    2. Manually deactivating all plugins.(http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)

Here are the specific to this blog:

    WordPress 3.0.1
Using "Smooth" Real Estate theme (http://gorillathemes.com/latest-themes/smooth-real-estate/)
    phpMyAdmin version
    Apache/1.3.41 (Darwin) PHP/5.3.0 DAV/1.0.3 mod_ssl/2.8.31 OpenSSL/0.9.7l mod_perl/1.29
    MySQL client version: 5.1.45

Thank you in advance for any help, it is much appreciated!

    1. Do you get an error message when trying to login, if so what is it.
    2. Have you tried using http://domain.com/wp-login.php
    3. When you say you cannot login, do you mean that it will not take the credentials, or does it not even show a login page?

    Thanks JohnnyWhite2007!

    In response to your questions:

    1. The error message I receive is on the login page: "ERROR: Invalid username or incorrect password."
    2. Yes, I have tried using http://domain.com/wp-login.php (in my case http://realtyvision.com/wordpress/wp-login.php)
    3. The login page shows but does not take the credentials and gives me the error message above.

I'm now wondering if I need to reinstall WordPress or the theme.

    Any thoughts?
