• Hi,

    My customers do not receive any normal EMAILS after the new woocommerce update (3.6.4). This only applies to orders made via POS. If the customer is buying something from the website everything is working.

    Any ideas?

    Hi, I also noticed that the order is not registered to the customers my account in orders page. And this could be the underlying reason why no customer emails are being sent. I do not which info is not registered correctly but it must be a change somewhere in woocommerce.

    Hi, same thing here.
    I’ve tried using twenty sixteen theme and disabled all other plugins except woocommerce and pos. It works on older version of woocommerce, but not with the newest (3.6.4). In both situations I get this error:

    [error] 2675#2675: *9129 FastCGI sent in stderr: "PHP message: PHP Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, no array or string given in /wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 286" while reading response header from upstream, client: xxx, server: xxx, request: "POST /wp-json/wc/v3/orders HTTP/1.0", upstream: "fastcgi://unix:/var/run/php7.2-fpm-xxx.sock:", host: "xxx", referrer: "xxx/pos/"

    Woocommerce 3.6.4 change log says this:

    * Dev – REST API – Stop order creation if invalid data is sent. #23325

    Maybe these things are connected.

    Hi guys, I’ve just some tests on https://deom.wcpos.com/pos and the customer emails seem to be working fine. The demo site is using WooCommerce 3.6.4, so I don’t think that is the problem.

    What version of WordPress are you using?
    What happens if you manually try to send an email from the POS, eg: go to the Orders page > View Order > Email?

    Hi,

    We are using the latest version of wordpress 5.2.1.

    If i try manually sending the email from woocommerce orders nothing happens. No emails. I am just making some more testing and will inform you about the results.

    Hi, which server environment are you using? we are on Nginx.

    The demo server is running WordPress 5.1. I do have WP 5.2 and Nginx on my dev machine so I will do some tests when I get a chance.

    Two more areas to check:
    – Go to WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Logs .. is there anything relating to mail?
    – A Mail logging plugin may be useful to try and catch error messages

    Hi, It can be that the email issue was different from this, but this error is still present when we make orders from POS. But i will carry on and give you some info if there when i have some more info.

    hi,

    Okay i did some research and found that the problem with emails were not related to this error.

    How ever we are receiving still the exactly same error but there is no actual problems found at the moment. And this error appears only when an item is sold from the POS.

    We also tested with 7.3 php and still the same error is present.

    Hi, Okay we have made all tests. deactivated everything theme and plugins. Except woocommerce and POS. So it seems that it is pos where this error is coming from.

    But we can close this discussion as the emails were not related to this.And i will start a new discussion.

    I am using latest versions of everything.
