Support » Plugin: Black Studio TinyMCE Widget » No content in widget after updating page

I am using siteorigin’s page builder and your plugin. When I go to add content to my page everything appears fine in your widget and it all works great. I update my page to make the changes live and then go back to use edit my content within your widget and there is absolutely no text showing up even though it is live and viewable on my site. I have already tried selectivally disabling other plugins and switching themes and have had no luck.

    Hi there,
    1. Does the issue occur only for page widgets inserted using Page Builder, or even for usual WP Widgets?
    2. Please could you check your browser javascript console for errors? (See here for further info about the console)

P.S. Are you using latest version of Page Builder? Another user reported a similar problem, which was fixed with the very latest release of Page Builder.

I have actually noticed that it occurs with the regular text widget as well. All versions are current and up to date. Greg over at siteorigin is actually going to login and look at it today. Ill keep you posted.

I’m having the exact same issue using the same Page Builder plugin. All plugins are the latest version. When I make text updates through Black Studio in the Page Builders and go to update the page, all edits are lost.
I have built my whole client’s site with this and have a deadline to update by end of day tomorrow. A quick fix would be so appreciated 🙂
    Thanks.

Mine just started working again randomly.

Try clearing your cookies and catche on your browser and completely logging out of the site and closing the browser. Then try going back in and se if that fixes it. If that doesnt help try disabling all other plugins except for page builder and Black Studio to see if that helps.

Hunterfreeman1, I have tried your suggestion on multiple computers with multiple browsers. I also have a cache plugin that I disabled. This seems to have worked initially, but only on random pages.

For instance i can edit the tab content on
    http://www.lemarweb.com/products/stabilizers/standard-stabilizer/

But on an identical set up I can’t edit it on this page
    http://www.lemarweb.com/products/hdrb/

On the pages where the update doesn’t take effect the Black Studio Tiny MCE HTML tab does not work, nor can the window size be adjusted by dragging the corner with mouse. On pages where the updates do work, HTML tab works and sizing of window works.

    Any more ideas?

    Thanks!

Thats all I’ve got. Like I said mine just started working again. Go post in the SiteOrigin support thread and Greg will take care of you. Refer to me in your post he literally just logged into my site to look into it like a day ago for this.

When Black Studio Tiny MCE tabs don’t work, there’s usually a javascript error caused by another plugin / widget, which prevent the correct javascript execution. So it’s possible that in the same setup, some pages work while other don’t, because they can have different widgets instances.
Please check your browser javascript error console for errors. You may also try to reproduce the problem by building a copy of the not working page, adding single widgets and saving the page after each one.

Thanks for the tips. Early this morning Greg released the latest update 1.4.3 which resolves the issues perfectly! Thanks, Greg!
