I got on my contact page and was dismayed that all I saw was code from the form. From the front end of my page. I went into my settings and I was not able to figure out what this issue can be. I had to give out an email address. Why no contact form now? I see no option to add them to my pages.

It looks like the Contact Form module is disabled on your site. Could you try to go to this page and enable it back?

    I hope this helps.

I can’t find ANY option to enable it now. None. I never disabled the contact form.

    Hi @ldesherl,

Your Contact Form module appears enabled now. Have you resolved the issue?

Let me know if we can help further.

@glwalker: Is your Jetpack plugin connected to WordPress.com? If so, but you still don’t see the Contact Form option, go to the Jetpack page on your dashboard and scroll down to the ‘Debug’ link at the bottom on the page. Click that. Then look for the “Access the full list of Jetpack modules available on your site.” link. Check there to see if the Contact Form feature is enabled.

If you need further assistance, please post your site URL here, so I can have a look. If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form:

    Hi @lschuyler

I should have been more specific earlier.

Ok – I am running Jetpack on a multisite installation, plugin is activated individually on each site. The main site has been running Jetpack for a couple of months with the contact form. My issue is not on the front end, the output renders as expected.

Today I activated Jetpack on a new site – that is when I noticed that there was no option to enable the contact form. So I went to the main site to check, and there was no option there either, yet it it active, just cant get to the switch to turn it on and off.

I had already run the debug option, and checked out everything, all was fine.
I did not notice the link “Access the full list of Jetpack modules available on your site.” The option is available there. That’s good enough for me, but perhaps it is a bug in the UI? I believe I just updated the Jetpack plugin a day or 2 ago.

I have checked all my other plugins against the list found on the Jetpack site, and all seems good there.

    Hi @glwalker !

Good eye! That’s right, the Contact Form toggle switch doesn’t appear on the settings page on the dashboard now.

As part of recent Jetpack update, the settings interface was updated and the toggles for some modules are no longer exposed. You can read all about the reasoning and the process here:

    https://jetpack.com/2017/04/04/settings-overhaul-redesign/

Why does one need a “Good eye” to toggle the Contact Form module of Jetpack off/on? Sounds like the UI/UX could use some refinement.

I’ve posted a related issue & feedback regarding this problem here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/important-hidden-options-feature-toggles-and-doesnt-work-properly/
