# No connection attempt

 * Installed the plugin, activated it, -> settings -> ATmosphere:
   I paste in the
   Bluesky handle, it seems to recognize it since it shows the Bluesky profile icon,
   then I click “Save”, but nothing happens. Except after a few seconds my Bluesky
   handle gets automatically replaced by the placeholder text alice.bsky.social.
   Tried 6 times now.

 * Can I ask what your Bluesky handle is, and if after typing it, you see it appear
   as a suggested handle in the field?
 * Do you also experience a similar issue if you try connecting via the Settings
   > Connectors menu?

 * Handle is textplatz.bsky.social .
   Yes, I see it as suggested handle with profile
   icon.Then I click “Save changes” and nothing happens, except a few seconds later
   the handle field placeholder reverts to alice.bsky.social. Connectors menu? You
   mean AI connectors? That works fine. I am connected to OpenAI.Using Firefox.

 * Now I tried Safari. Exact same result and behavior.
   I also tried with firewall
   disabled. Didn’t change anything either.

 * If you use the latest version of the ATmosphere plugin, you should also see an“
   ATmosphere” connector on that screen. Could you try using that, and let me know
   how it goes?

 * We have no preview of the profile icon in that process… Are you sure you are 
   using the ATmosphere plugin?

   I think I’ve figured the issue out. When I tried the Settings -> Connectors -
   > ATmosphere it returned a REST API error and couldn’t make a connection.I have
   the REST API generally, and only selectively for specific plugins enabled for
   security reasons.But anyway I ended up not using ATmosphere anyway since I struggeled
   with the setup. Using something different for the task now, without REST API 
   issues. Thanks for responding.
