I have tried to connect my cPanel-Account with correct credentials and tried out hostname as well as the IP-address of the server to connect the plugin with my cPanel-account.

Unfortunatly the plugin didn’t confirm these credentials, although I they are correct.

I’ve applied different server-access methods such as

    IP-address without prefix “https://”
    IP-address with prefix “https://”
IP-address with suffix “:2083″ and without
Hostname incl. and excl. suffix”:2083″ and incl. or excl. prefix “https://”
    … none of them worked.

I have then tried to contact the plugin-developer via their support-system on https://secure.insyncbusinessgroup.com/submitticket.php, but the message could not be sent.

Instead I’m prompted to login, although I don’t have an account there.

I would even buy the premium-version, but the failure in their basic-version and the way they provide support are suspicious to me.

If they don’t reply here, I’d need to give a bad rating in order to warn other users.

@saschinger I apologize for the delay in responding to this post (completely missed the e-mail notification and we do not actively monitor this forum). We recently issued an update to the cPanel E-Mail Manager plugin because a recent update to the cPanel/WHM server software caused our implementation of the cPanel API to break. This update may correct the connection issues you were encountering, so please try again with the latest release of 1.3.11 and if you are still running into any issues, you should be able to submit a support ticket to us so that we can communicate securely. I just tested the ticketing system and I was able to create a ticket without an account, so you should not have any issues. Just be sure to select the Support or Sales categories. If you run into an issue again, please post back here and I’ll take another look.

    Best Regards,
    Matt
