    All works great except subscribers aren’t receiving confirmation emails even though I have double opt-in checked “yes”. It has been an hour and a half since a user has subscribed. How long does it usually take for the confirmation email to be received by the subscriber? Is this a mail chimp problem? Thank you.

    Hi there,

    Did you get a success message? Then the plugin did its part, the confirmation email is being sent out by MailChimp.

    Did you check your spam folder?

    Thank you. Nothing in spam and yes a success confirmation message appeared. I will look to Mail Chimp now.

    Hmm. Personally I never experienced delays for over an hour.

    – Make sure you set up MailChimp to send out confirmation e-mails
    – Make sure double opt-in is enabled, or if it’s disabled make sure you check “Send Welcome Email”.

    There is not much my plugin can do about delayed emails if all other settings are right. If the success message shows, it means MailChimp accepted the subscribe request. This message will only show if the sign-up request succeeded, 100%.
