No Commnet

  • On some of my pages I’m designing in WP I don’t want the comments on but it I have them off it says “Comments are closed. Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.”

    I don’t want it to say this either. How can I get rid of this?

  • Copy one of the templates, name it commentless.php, and take out the commenting section, then save it into your theme folder. Make sure you have this section at the very top:

    <?php
    /*
    Template Name: Commentless
    */
    ?>

    I think it might be the theme I based my theme off of. When I use the default theme it doesn’t do that.

    Possible. Short of using the default or another theme set up the same way, making your own commentless template is the way to go.
