No color changes in default theme using “Header Image and Color” menu

  • I’m new to WP, and it mostly works very well, but I’m seeing this issue:

I’m using the default theme (Kubrick), and from the admin pages if I click on “Presentation” and then select “Header Image and Color,” any changes I make to the Upper Color and Lower Color don’t have any effect. (Same if I use the Advanced option and type in the RGB values — they’re ignored.)

(Changes I make to the Font Color are reflected.)

I made sure the .jpg files in wp-content\themes\default\images directory were writable.

    Any ideas?
