No changes apply to my themes

    Hi all,

    i have been working in a theme for a while now but i am trying different kind of themes. For some reason if i choose a theme (tried several) and i go to the customizer, almost no changes that i make will apply. I can put all the colors on red but there is not 1 that will actually change. Just like it normally did i loads the page again so it looks like the changes will come but then it just shows the same page again.

    I tried changing it in the theme itself and in a child of a theme but both will not do anything. Also there all no cache plugins and i also deleted the browsers cache. I also tried different browsers and yet again nothing.

    So now i am really stuck.

    Any help here?

    Where are you downloading these themes from? We only support themes hosted on wordpress.org here.

    The theme i now have is storefront (but tried more themes), i download them in wordpress itself not from other websites or anything

    What happens if you use the default Twenty Sixteen theme?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
