    Hello,

We’re trying out the express checkout plugin – but it’s not adding anything to the site regardless of settings. Have also tried Storefront and still see nothing.

Can see a JavaScript error in the console on the cart page:
Uncaught Error: Document is ready and element #woo_pp_ec_button_cart does not exist

Looks like the #woo_pp_ec_button_cart isn’t getting added to the cart page at all.

We’re running WooCommerce v3.4.3 and WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway v1.6.1

The gateway is enabled and ‘Enable PayPal Checkout on the cart page’ is checked.

    Thanks,

    Ian.

    Hi Ian,

It certainly sounds like something else is preventing the PayPay Checkout plugin from displaying properly on the checkout page.

In cases like this, we recommend the following troubleshooting steps:

Switch to a default WordPress theme, such as Twenty Seventeen, to see if the problem still exists. If the problem goes away, contact your theme developer about the issue. There may be an update that solves it.

If the problem persists in a default theme, go to the next step.

Disable all your plugins, except for WooCommerce and the WooCommerce PayPal Checkout plugin. Then re-test to see if it displays on the checkout page. If it does, there’s likely a conflict with one of the disabled plugins. To pinpoint which one, reactivate your plugins (1 or 2 at a time) and see if the problem reappears.
