Have installed and uninstalled over and over.
When I insert a piece of audio – I don’t get the tinyMCE control panel offered as the ModifyAudioPlayer button in the toolbar is not only greyed out to the point it can hardly be seen – it does nothing once clicked.

I even went and downloaded the player code and uploaded it to the plugins folder – still no joy.

I have watched the user guide video several times and I can’t get the modify button to show to allow me to change anything.

Any idea what I am doing wrong please.

The modify button becomes active only if the cursor is placed on a link to an .mp3 file.
If you placed or selected a link to the audio file and the button doesn’t become active that means you set the wrong link in the media file uploader. When you upload a media file you you should set the “link to” parameter in the Attachment Display Settings to “media file”.

    Thanks, got that bit.
In the notes file it says downlaod and install to plugins – I have downloaded the plugin from wordpress.org and it is ver 1.2.9 -= yet on your blog the latest ver is 1.6.5 – which should I download and install please?
The root that the automatic installation process installed to is: wp-content/plugins/wp-miniaudioplayer – was this correct?

    Thanks

Thanks for the help – I spent several hours trying to make this work and could not so I have now changed to another player which set up in minutes and worked first time.

    Thanks anyway,

I’m sorry for you; all the other 28,215 people who are using it took 1 minutes to set it up :-).
