  • I’m running Woocommerce 2.0.8 with the WooCommerce PayPal Express Gateway extension. When my customers check out, they receive the message: “Sorry, it seems that there are no available payment methods for your state.”

    I’ve tried flat rate shipping, as well as free shipping, but I’m having no luck with the checkout. Customers cannot checkout because they see the error message and are never redirected to PayPal to complete payment.

  • I had the same problem when I initially installed PP Express, but I never intended for it to be a primary payment gateway. When I installed and made it the primary, that error went away.

    That problem only seems to occur when the “Proceed to Checkout” button is clicked. If you click the “Checkout with Pay Pal” button, it navigates to the correct Pay Pal page.

    Are you going to use PP as the only means for customers to purchase products?

    Of course, you shouldn’t have to install another payment option if you don’t want to. There’s clearly a bug in the PP Express plugin. But getting an answer from Woo is like pulling teeth. If you figure it out or they tell you how to resolve it, please post.

    Thanks for your response, MoonDog. We ended up just using the regular PayPal method for checkout and it works fine. My clients had an initial reason for wanting to try the PayPal Express method, but when that didn’t work, we fell back to just using regular PayPal and it’s up and running. You’re right; there’s some bug in the PP Express extension, but we weren’t able to figure it out!
