• The plugin seems to work ok, but I uninstalled it right away because it did not automatically load the video’s thumbnail image, and just displays a gray box. The default WP youtube embed loads an image and a title. Unless I want to go through and create a thumbnail image for each of the 100 or so videos on my site, it is not very helpful. Also, I did not see any indication that you could embed vimeo’s.

    Hi @azlivin008,

Thank you very much for sharing your valuable feedback 🙂

I am sorry to learn about the inconvenience you experienced with the thumbnail image display. It’s unfortunate to hear that you’ve uninstalled the plugin already.

To determine why such an unusual issue occurred, we have thoroughly tested our plugin but haven’t been able to replicate the same issue.

The plugin is working perfectly fine on our end. There might be a conflict with a third-party plugin on your website that could have caused the issue.

If you had contacted us through the support forum or contacted us via our website earlier, we could have assisted you in resolving the issue promptly.

However, we are glad to know that the default WP YouTube embed is able to meet your needs.

Regarding your concern about embedding videos from Vimeo, the plugin is solely designed to embed YouTube videos on a WordPress website. Hence the name Faster YouTube Embed.

Once again, thank you for sharing your experience with us. Wishing you a wonderful day ahead!

    Best regards,
    Tarek Aziz
On behalf of the Faster YouTube Embed team
