@charliegorilla aka Charles Kelly,
you wrote a review (https://yithemes.com/themes/plugins/yith-woocommerce-order-tracking/) on Yithemes.com for the YITH WooCommerce Order Tracking Premium and we helped you through our support team.
What we do not understand if why you wrote here about features that are not part of the free plugin ?
This version of the plugin do not support importing CSV file, so it make no sense to ask for changing a procedure that does not exists, right?
This version of the plugin do not support carriers, so it make no sense to ask for adding a carrier, right?
Please, moderator, we feel this review has no reason to be here.

@yithemes, There is nothing to moderate here.
So Andrew Nevins,
you mean it’s normal someone can leave 1 star rating on plugins that they have never used?

No, but that’s not the case here.

We no longer consider premium reviews as topics for moderation for the following reasons. It has been the practice of plugin and theme developers to advertise their commercial products within the WordPress.org plugin/ theme pages. Advertising is not disallowed, but it will result in confusion with the end users. Users will eventually review the commercial features on a non-commercial plugin or theme.
I would be more persuaded to moderate the review if there was absolutely no reference to the commercial plugin, but we know that’s not the case.
Users will eventually review the commercial features on a non-commercial plugin or theme.
I think the user is writing this only to make a snub to us, seen that he clearly did not liked a feature of the plugin that we sell in our store.
I think that this review is in no way useful for future plugin users because the rate clearly refers to feature not implemented in this plugin and leaving it here can only mislead other users about the validity of the plugin.
I hope, you will understand my words.
Thanks.
I guess the point is, if you release a free plugin that’s rather limited then relentlessly plug your premium plugins, customers will likely upgrade to get the advanced features.
If that premium plugin doesn’t actually solve the problem, or isn’t a good plugin, inevitably users will go back to the original (or “gateway”) plugin and leave a negative review.
What YITH may not appreciate in this case is that setting up a plugin (even a free one) takes time and effort. If the premium plugin that the user is in the end forced to upgrade to still doesn’t present a good solution then it’s better for free users to be aware of what they’re getting into at the very start.
@charliegorilla,
i could surely understand your words if the plugin do not works as expected, while in your case you pretend to not use the standard WordPress Import feature but a custom one that should pick the CSV file automatically from somewhere else as we said you through our support service.
Anyway, we’re at your disposal and surely we can help you for every needs, through our support service reserved to our customer.
Have a nice day.
