no async option — results in duplicate scripts | WordPress.org

Your share plugin allows for the script to be loaded asynchronously, which I am happy to be using. Unfortunately, this results in duplication of the same script because this plugin does not have an option to load as async.

I tried disabling async on the share widget and the redundant scripts persist (one sync at the top of the footer and one sync at the bottom of the footer).
