Support » Plugin: Lazy Load » No Apparent effect after Installing plugin

    Hello,

I’ve installed Rocket Lazy Load, however I cannot see any indication that the plugin is functioning – Images do not seem to lazy load, img’s do not seem to have any new class or attribute associated, no positive/negative impact on GTMetrix test results, no new errors, simply no signs of functionality whatsoever aside from WordPress’s “Plugin activated” confirmation upon initial activation!

How can I go about testing functionality to see where the issue lies? Is there a certain attribute and/or class that I can manually add to some test img’s to see if the issue lies within the injection of said class/attribute to img elements?

Thank you very much for your time!

Plugin removed due to lack of functionality and no response from author – cannot recommend to anybody for this reason

    Hi,

Your images should receive a class “lazyloading” or “lazyloaded”. You should also see a <noscript> tag under your images for no JS compatibility.

If you’re not seeing any of that, it’s possible your theme/plugin is not using the core WordPress functions to display the images, which we rely on for our lazyload.

Please also check in the plugin settings that you have activated the lazyload for images.
