    Hi

I’m sorry if this has already been answered.

I’m settings up WordPress (4.1) locally, with the Colorway (free) theme. Whenever I add an apostrophe (like in a genitive case) and save the text, Colorway adds forward slash in front of the apostrophe.

I’s there a solution for this?

    Thanks for your help!

  • Hey there riis,

    Hope you’re well! 🙂

Tested this with my own local install but it is working fine. Try disabling all your plugins temporarily and see if the error still there.

Looking forward for your reply! 🙂

    Take care,
    Calvin

    Hi Calvin,

    thanks for your reply.

Disabled all the plugins and the child-theme but neither worked.

I’m using MAMP on OS 10.9.5.

Been setting up several WPs over the past year but never had this issue. First time I’m using Colorway though.

    Any ideas?

    Hey there riis,

    Hope you’re well! 🙂

I still don’t know the cause but I suggest you create another wordpress install then try it on that install.

Looking forward for your reply! 🙂

    Best Regards,
    Calvin

    Hi riis,

If you want use apostrophe in Feature Heading and content, please insert HTML number or HTML name for particular symbol.

To get HTML name or HTML code visit http://www.ascii.cl/htmlcodes.htm

OK, I was sure I’d tried that but perhaps I did something wrong.

    Anyway, it worked now!

    Thanks a lot to both!
