[Resolved] No Admin linnk after theme change

After changing a theme I no longer have a visible “login” link that allows me to login to admin. This is not caused by Zone Alarm as I don’t have that tool installed. I suspect this is related to themes some how. I do not recall the name of the theme I used it is the one that has a large pic of a hand holding a pencil–if that means anything.

Specific question: What is the admin url string that would allow me to physically edit the address in the browser bar? Or how else can I find the correct address. I have another site using a different theme where I can log in–that site uses http://www.mysite.com/wordpress/wp-login.php but when I enter this string in the site where I cannot login I get a page not found error.

I have access to the db and all the back end files.

  • If WP is installed at the root, just add
wp-login.php after the URL in the address bar, e.g.
    example.com/wp-login.php

Moshu, Thank you. When I do this I get a “page not found” + a 404 error. I believe I have the installation reside in one place but resolve to another. resides at mysite.com/wp but resolves to mysite.com . Am I screwed?

Fixed when I navigated to the actual installation not the resolved installation. Thanks moshu!
