No access to namesco cpanel, how create a database?

  • I am looking to create a new wordpress site for our business. We currently have a website which was made by someone else, but it no longer meets our needs.

The site is hosted by namesco, however I don’t have access to the cpanel. I am using filezilla as the ftp. I am not sure how to upload wordpress if I can’t create a mysql database via the cpanel. I am not very technically minded so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t have access to the cpanel

You’re not going to be able to install WordPress without it. You need to set up a new database and a database users with full privileges.

Thank for getting back to me so quickly!

How do i go about doing that? Do you know if there is a tutorial?

You’ll need to use the MySQL Database Manager in cPanel.

    Okidokes. Thanks for your help.
