    Hello,

The plugin is working 100% perfectly. I wanted to test the usage of the “no access” page.

How to reach this page? If I search for an unexisting download or expired link, I get the ugly white page with one error message.

PS: I am also using the “email before download” plugin together with this one.

    Thanks,

    Didier.

    Hey Didier,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Please note that when you access a download for which you do not have permission, our plugin will automatically redirect to the “No Access” page.

That said, the “Email before download” is not developed by us so we do not know how it handles this. I would suggest contacting their developers.

    Hi Harish,

But what does this mean “not have permission”?

What permissions are you talking about?

As said, I would like to test how the “no access” page displays and behaves, but I lack a use case to reproduce.

I have a multilanguage site so I need to check the page in all languages.

    Thanks,

    Didier.

    Hey Didier,

I regret to say I do not understand your question correctly.

First, I would suggest creating a normal download not locked with 3rd party plugins and test if it works. If it does not work then let us know.

    Hi Harish,

    Let me simplify:
    1. as said in post #1, all my downloads are working fine.
    2. you as plugin author decided to create a page called “no access” right? It is called when a user has no permission to download. That’s how you explained it. Right ?

My question : what does this mean “no permission”? Is this a wordpress role ? The download file is locked ? Please explain what you mean by “permission to download”. I want to test this “no access” page so give me the use case to reach this “no access” page.

    Many thanks,

    Didier.

    Hey Didier,

From no permission means if you have marked a download as “members only” then people who visit your website but not logged into it won’t have permission to download and when they try to download, they will be redirected to the No Access page.

Thanks Harish for the explanation. Understood now.
