No acces to /wp-admin/

  • Hi,
After installing wordpress on my server everything worked fine, untill I changed my .htaccess file. I did this because for some reason uploading images didn’t work. The whole server didn’t responded any more (after changing the htacces file) so I asked my host to reset the server.

So I emptyed the databases and re installed wordpress. After installing I can’t enter the wp-admin. So I can’t login: ‘Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/ on this server.’

    Any one knows a solution?

    thanks in advance!

  • You possibly did not reset yourself as an Admin user?

Did you change the database table prefix in wp_config.php between these two installs?

You can get into your database using phpmyadmin.
