NinjaFirewall fatal error after wordpress 5.1 upgrade

    After upgrading to wordpress 5.1, NinjaFirewall prints a bunch of notices in its settings page like the one listed below:

    Notice: Indirect modification of overloaded element of WP_Hook has no effect in /xxx/yyyyyyy/zzzzzz/example.abc.com/web/content/wp-content/object-cache.php on line 664

    How to go about fixing this?

    This is not a notice referring to NinjaFirewall, but to a caching plugin. (object-cache.php is used for object caching)
    Check with with your caching plugin support to see where the problem comes from.
