We're past our event that I tried using this plug in for... with another one I need to put together for next October. We don't make a profit on these, and this was the first time I've used WordPress for an event's website.
Typically we create a registration form in Adobe InDesign, then convert it to an interactive form in Adobe Acrobat. Our registrants fill out the form using Acrobat Reader and then email the forms to me. (example: http://www.hoshanarabbah.org/sukkotnw_invite.html )
I thought your plug in was easy to use and set up, looked nice on the webpage, and the emails I received from it of our registrants' information went well. I'm very happy with how it performed to that point. The disappointment, though, was when I selected to export the information gathered to Excel. I'm using a Mac and use Numbers software, but that usually opens Excel documents for me just fine. However, the file exported information was such a big mess that I ended up having to enter everything by hand from the information I received in the emails.
Since I typically have to enter all the information by hand, I was able to complete the task quickly. However, I was looking forward to an on-line registration system that automatically would do that step for me. :)
Here's where I used Ninja Forms Lite:
Do you have a suggestion for how to make this work in Numbers?
