  • I spent the month of December ‘learning’ WordPress and having a field day with a number of themes and plugins. Functionality is good, accessible functionality is better. And by accessible, I mean configuration screens with guiding detail e.g. ‘the default here will mean xyz’ – fabulous hints and tips throughout the theme or plugin. Modern Tribe build useful stuff and show you how to use it.
For developers/designers who really hope to have folks pay for their coding work, work a little harder to make it easy for newbies and experienced folks alike and you should see the donations soar! Modern Tribe is a great example.

Your experience is a testament to the fact that our efforts to make this plugin useful to newcomers and hardcore developers alike are paying off here. Thanks a ton for taking the time to write it, and please know that we’re here for you if you have any questions, concerns or ideas for improvement down the road.
