Support » Plugin: Cooked - Recipe Plugin » Nice recipe plugin with small things missing

  • I checked out a lot of different recipe plugins and I liked this the most. So in my new upcoming blog be ready to see it in action! I hope my users will like it, too.

As a developer myself I like the lean structure its pretty well made. Nevertheless I needed to add some custom styles to make it fit to my needs: I did a more European Nutrition Table for example. It was pretty easy because everything is named well, so you always have a css class to simply overwrite. Thanks for that 🙂

The only think I miss are 2 or 3 extra fields under the excerpt field in the admin panel. So you can add additional information about your recipe with a shortcode somewhere in your template like on the top or button or before the gallery without changing the layout all the time. That will keep the template clear so you can simply restore all changes to every recipe without worrying loosing your special descriptions. Than that plugin will be a perfect 5!

PS: European people don’t like buying things at sites with no imprint. Cooked.pro should consider that.

    Thanks for the feedback Sandra!

I do see the need for an additional description field for the templates, I’ll see what I can do.

What do you mean by “imprint”?

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

That would be great, I look forward to it.

It’s something like a legal notice. See Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impressum
You know who your contractor will be and so people will trust you and your website more. But that is just my two cents.

PS: I’m making a German translation in Loco. Do you want to have it?
