• I’m just going to go ahead and say it – this company appears to have become ETHICALLY CHALLENGED! . . . because Bloatware (for lack of a better – less colorful way to describe it) was installed without my knowledge or approval when I setup my final production site and installed this plugin again. (A Google Analytics plugin, and a plugin for Optin Monster are two that I know I did not authorize) I would give this plugin and the company ZERO STARS if I could for this reason alone!

Originally this was a nice plugin, providing decent feedback and some useful optimization enhancements, but in the free version there aren’t any feature settings available that really do anything now – you have to pay for those.

You will also likely be faced with technical issues in the future using this plugin if you don’t keep everything updated to the latest, greatest versions. Javascript is apparently a much larger part of the codebase now. Because I can’t upgrade all of my plugins or even wordpress when they are made available because “things” don’t always play well with other “things” in the wordpress platform and my site has gotten broken more than once while in development as a result – taking hours, and on one occasion days, to track down the culprit it simply isn’t worth it any more.

    Hi @obewanz,

I’m sorry to hear you found there weren’t many features in our free plugin. There’s many features in the free plugin and we add new features on a monthly basis. In fact we update our plugin with new features more frequently than many other SEO plugins.

We firmly believe that the free version of All in One SEO is great solution for anyone wanting to get started with search engine optimization of their site without spending anything.

Well… Once I find a suitable replacement this plugin will be going to the trash bin in expedited fashion!

I don’t know what kind of “upgrades” you are supplying, but until I decided to address the “Javascript” issue (yes an older version of Firefox) I didn’t realize how bloated this plugin really was! Sad :'(
