In fact, I contacted the official support channel you mentioned and none of the issues I mentioned were actually resolved.
The scene menu that appears when we click the top button simply remains at the top of the tour after we select a menu item. It is standard behavior for any menu to disappear after clicking on one of the listed options, but no, this one just remains there in front of everything, which, along with the tiny interface buttons that I asked support for a way to make bigger and they told me none (not even a few simple lines of CSS), makes for an incredibly bad UX/UI for no reason. Really basic problems here, wich shouldn’t even get past the beta version.
My last ticket was: “The Duplicate option only shows for admins. Editors are not seeing it. How can we fix?”
Answer: “As mentioned in the WPVR settings, “Allow the Editors of your site to create, edit, update, and delete virtual tours (They can access other users’ tours),” so the editors will only be able to create, edit, update, and delete the virtual tours.”
Well, I think I already knew that. But since it’s more than obvious that it doesn’t make any sense to allow editors to create, edit, update and delete tours, but not to duplicate them, I asked support for help. I’m sure this could be done using a simple code snippet or something, but no, just no help, and that’s it. Of course, it’s my fault for asking such simple and basic rational things.
There’s one more complex issue too, wich makes the Floor Plan feature simply unusable (especially when working with wide plans). But I will not even expose it here.
I’m sorry, but so far, our experience really hasn’t been good. The change log only lists simple fixes that takes months to be released. So, no hope for real changes here. And it’s very very frustrating, since we are running serious business here, and paying the price that was asked.
