    @ardhagp – Sorry for the delay, but wanted to thank you for taking time to leave a review.

    I am curious if there is anything in particular we could improve that would earn that extra star back. As the only 4 star review I am curious what prompted the loss of a star.

    Obviously, I am not the person above but I did want to answer your question. The persistent “Give me 5 stars” notice is incredibly annoying, especially when other plugins are doing it too and I have to try to get them out of way. It doesn’t matter how many times I click the “I already did” it keeps showing up. So I am going to deactivate it and try another way. Thanks for all your hard work. Some of the other plugins I have managed to find the entry either in the database or the functions, but I am running out of time.

    @gayle1 – Hmm we use that review request in several plugins, and there are some other plugin authors who have also adopted it for their use. I haven’t seen this in any of them. My guess a JS or PHP error is preventing the AJAX that saves that it was dismissed. You could check the browser console for JS errors and if it shows a 500 response then its a PHP error and we would need to get the error from your logs.

    In any case this isn’t how it programmed, in fact is should show 3 times max. IE shows up when you hit a milestone (time since install), if you dismiss 4 weeks later it will try again, if you dismiss again 4 weeks later it asks one last time. If you dismiss then it never shows to you again. We tried to program in respectful levels that wouldn’t annoy us personally as we spend a lot of time in the dash ourselves.

    Thanks for explaining that, danieliser. In that case, it might have been because of something I was doing. I will finalise everything else and then try your plugin again.
