You’re welcome. Since you mentioned an invoicing plugin, I would like to share a tip, if I may. One of the most common glitches in invoicing plugins is having the wrong currency symbol displayed on the documents. This happens when functions like wc_price() are called without specifying a currency. In such scenario, the amount is formatted using whatever currency is active at the moment, and it may or may not match order’s actual currency.

The solution is simple. Before preparing the invoice, load the currency from the order by calling WC_Order::get_currency(), then pass such information to the formatting function(s). That will ensure that the amounts will be formatted with the correct currency symbol.

    Thanks for the tip.

This is not an issue for us.

This is a plugin mainly for the Portuguese market and we’re not creating invoices directly on WooCommerce, because this is not allowed legally. All the invoicing systems in Portugal must be approved by the Tax Authority.

Our plugin is an integration with an external invoicing system via API.
