• After installing the plugin I’ve found the email subscription requirement a significant problem and had to uninstall the plugin:

    1) It will ask additional users for an email address to “unlock” the social icons. I have three administrators and it asked each one of them to submit an email address. I also noticed that if you make it inactive and then reactivate, it may ask for an email address.

    2) The avatar doesn’t seem to use the stock local avatar that other plugins seem to find and use. I’ll have to test this more to determine the incompatibility.

Don’t get me wrong – you did a great job on the plugin. But most importantly is #1. I’d pay for a plugin but could not afford to have something like an email aubscription form appear to my users without any information at all about the fact that they may be subscribing to someone else’s mailing list.

Just downloaded the update – these things may be working in the update. So far reactivating the plugin works. I would be concerned about making sure that the email doesn’t pop up again for users. Perhaps you can lock that in and make sure it’s administrators only that might see the message.

    Hey,

    Thank you for your feedback.
Starbox will only ask until you enter one email. Once you’ve enter the email it will record in database not to ask again. It could happen to show again only if you delete it from your option table.

    1. I don’t know exactly what you do when you deactivate it. Are you deactivate it from plugins?

    2. Only if you have user restriction for the /wp-content/uploads folder

    Kind regards,
    Calin
