• We made the switch from WP statistics and Burst is a nice clean plugin. We had some issues down and after some testing figured out that in our case when we enable ‘Turbo mode’ our stats tracking slowed down immensely compared to Google Analytics. Maybe a bug or some kind of incompatibility with our WP Rocket plugin settings.

When searching through the documents is was hard to pinpoint exact exclusion paths to exclude js if there are any needed in the cache settings. The docs need some improvement showing users (novice) exactly what the whole plugin path might be. Otherwise you are losing time search via FTP.

But really like the interface and plugin, so hope more improvements come. At the moment still on the fence to upgrade to Pro. And for now a 4 stars.

Hi @rrvoigt! Thanks for the feedback! We appreciate you switching from WP Statistics and are glad you like the interface.

Regarding the “Turbo mode” issue, that’s good to know. Feel free to open a support request so we can dig into the specifics or share your URL, so we can do some checks. Most issues we solve or find a solution that works for both of us!

We’re also working on improving our documentation with more specific examples for cache exclusions. Thanks for pointing that out.

We hope to earn that 5-star rating with future improvements and support!

@rrvoigt Based on your feedback I’ve started an article on excluding Burst from caching here:

Regarding Turbo mode: please note that using Turbo mode will probably result in missing visitors that exit quickly after viewing the site: you will see less bounces in the statistics. Maybe this explains what you see?
