Regarding customisation, several people have asked for this, but I have to strike a balance between simplicity and flexibility. Adding too many options causes people to complain, just as having too little flexibility does. Also, remember that very few people will ever see the CAPTCHA page, customised or not!
Regarding the redirect back to original page, this is a usability issue. It is better to let the user know why their comment was rejected than to silently redirect them and let them wonder why the comment doesn’t appear (I know this is what WordPress itself does, but it’s still bad practice).

Yes, you are right about the balance, I see your points. One of the main reasons I asked for this is that I wanted to write those messages in English plus one more language (both in the same text). This can be done for the initial text but not after that. (Sure I can add it directly in the scripts code)
Regarding the redirection, there could be a simple a button for the users to press. Not a big deal, but instructing them to press the back button on the browser seems a little strange to me (having noob users in mind)
