• Hi guys. I have a website in wordpress with + 4 years online. Lately I’ve noticed an increase in the error logs on Nginx with hundreds of similar record to this:
    2016/07/09 12:03:32 [error] 9181#0: *2361321 open() "/usr/share/nginx/html/wp-content/themes/asdcz/framework/css/blank.gif" failed (2: No such file or directory), client: 8.37.231.105, server: mywebsite.com, request: "GET /wp-content/themes/

    It happens only with images that no longer exist on my server (gif, png, jpg)…

    There is some adjustment in nginx or wordpress plugin’s that can help me solve this?

    Well, it should generate a 404 error if the images are not there. I’m not sure what your issue is.

    If it’s why you’re getting these, someone at 8.37.231.105 is looking for those images. If it really bothers you, you could block that IP address. Otherwise, your server is behaving properly.
