# ngg_featured folder

 * I was doing a FTP process this a.m. and noticed this folder:
    wp-content/uploads/
   ngg_featured.
 * So I Googled ( ngg_featured folder ) and came across 9 pages (9080 results… better
   than 80% of these results were indexes of same folder showing other websites 
   with their photos).
 * What gives? Should this folder be deleted? Where did it come from? Do we need
   it?

   just what it looks, it’s for NextGEN featured images that you may choose for 
   your posts/pages.
    Use it or not is your choice, but if you don’t, it will be
   empty.

   explained, this is a standard item in NextGEN Gallery and will only exist/be 
   used if you are using the Set NextGEN Featured image functionality.
