  • Can confirm the same here – upgraded and site does not display anything further than the NGG Gallery thumbnails section – remainder of site does not display and thumbs do not display. Reverted to 2.0.66 and site functioning normally.

Always makes me wonder who programs this plugin – ever since the original owners sold out this plugin is nothing short of a pain in the ass to maintain. Every update i’m left wondering if it will completely destroy my site.

if you were using nggdb::get_gallery, the imageURL field is missing from the object they create for each photo.

    Thanks NGG – once again

Having issues with the latest update like all of you. Can’t even access my WP dashboard. I uploaded 2.0.66 and am still not having any success. I am getting the following error which I do not know how to fix. I should preface this request for help with the note that knew enough to maintain my site up until today. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE in /home/wwwdigjj/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/non_pope/class.nextgen_settings.php on line 25

    Thanks!

Did you disable the plugin before replacing the plugin files via ftp:
    http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/how-to-rollback-a-version/

If not I would try doing so and then if necessary re-ftp the files…see the link above. Otherwise I don’t know what the Parse error means. If you have a service contract with NGG they will ask for your credentials to login and change things up to see if they can figure it out.

Thanks. I did not disable as I have not been able to access my WP dashboard. I just went right to the replacing the version. Any other suggestion? You’ve been really helpful. Thank you!

Can you discuss this with your web host to see if they can stop the WordPress application on their end. I’m not exactly sure without researching how they would do that but they have the ability to stop the apache server or something like that so you could re-ftp if necessary and then restart the server. Just an idea you might run past them.

change the name of the directory of nextgen-gallery. then you’ll should be able to access dashboard

I thought my issue was related to OP

@richtwebguy – We’ve just released a quick beta that should have a fix for your issue, among other things. If you want to try that, you can download it here:

    http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/nextgen-gallery-latest-beta/

Otherwise, it should be officially released in another day or so.

@spiranimcorp – I’m assuming your original issue is being handled via the bug report.

    Thanks! (Erick)
