NextGEN Widget – Newest pictures

    Hallo

    Since i have updated Nextgen, the NextGEN Widget that is showing newest pictures is not updating any more.

    Before if i did add a new gallery and did add pictures to it, it would be showed as the newest pictures at the frontpage, but now no new pictures and shown.

    What to do?

    Hi @nomisdk,

    We were unable to replicate this issue on our test sites so we hope that you wouldn’t mind first of all trying to re-install NextGen Gallery plugin then make sure to clear any cache to see if the new images will show up.

    Hi

    I have cleared my WP Super Cachce, and turned it off, but still dont show up.
    How can i re-install the Nextgen Gallery plugin without loosing all setttings/images?
    (I have + 600 albums)

    Hi @nomisdk,

    You can create a full site+database backup before proceeding but normally, NextGen doesn’t run any scripts that would mess with the existing galleries or albums on plugin’s deactivation or deleting so you can feel free to go ahead and deactivate then delete NextGen Gallery plugin then install it again.

    It seems to work after i did remove the widget from the frontpage and add it again.
