• I’ve been trying to add a NextGen slideshow to a page in a site I’m developing (http://whitesalmonevents.com/iafi/about-iafi/iafi-in-the-beginning/). When I select the NextGen tool in the Editor the setup interface screen pops up blank and the activity shows Connecting, Waiting, and Transferring Data for about 1 minute then stops, apparently thinking it has loaded the interface (which is still blank). I can close the interface with the upper right X and everything in the page is still fine.

    Tried editing a working slideshow on another site (http://mtadamschamber.com/visit/) and get the same blank interface that times out.

    Tried pasting the shortcode for a working slideshow from another site into the Text view of the first page above and the image appears in the Visual window as if it is good (small image showing). However, if I click on it as if to edit the slideshow I get the same as above. If I Preview the page it comes up with Invalid Displayed Gallery.

    This happens with both regular NextGen and the Pro version, and only since the latest updates.

    I tried to login to NextGen support but ended up going in circles. Using what should have been my password I got shunted to a page that asked me to login again. After two tries I opted to have my password reset. Responded to the email I received and it indicated that the password reset had expired. Tried again and am now locked out.

    BTW – if it matters, I misspoke above about the version, I have NextGen Plus, not Pro.

    After waiting an hour I was able to get to the password reset, but now that the password is reset I login, it says my account is expired and I have to login to renew. When I login again it immediately sends me to a Need to renew? page. I login again and go right back to the Need to renew? page.

    I would like to get around to addressing this problem rather than going in login circles. Am I doing something wrong?

    @ldekay – We’re very sorry you are experiencing issues logging into your account so you can use our support services but whether it is the NextGEN Pro or NextGEN Plus plugin neither can be supported in these forums as they are not hosted here.

    I do not necessarily suspect NextGEN Plus in this case but if it is our support system is your best place to seek assistance. One of our account managers will be quite happy to help you get the log in issue sorted out as soon as possible … and again, our apologies for these inconveniences.

    I would love to work with your support people but your website is not working properly, at least for me. Until I can get through to your support people this is my only avenue to contact you about this problem.

    I’ve tried logging into nextgen-gallery.com the past two days, but the site either just sends me in circles to “For support you must login” again (yesterday), or (today) after I submit my username/password it directs me back to the login page (login.php), but this time the page comes up blank. I’ve even tried using different browsers (Chrome, FireFox, Opera) with the same results. I also tried using your Contact Us link in the bottom sidebar but that page (/contact) also comes up blank.

    So if you will PLEASE have them fix your nextgen-gallery.com website so I can work with them I will leave this as ‘Not a support question’, but until then I must continue changing it to ‘Not resolved’.

    @ldekay – This is “Not a support question” because of the NextGEN Plus aspect … Please send us a Bug Report (http://nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) so we can get a better look under the page at your site.

    Please include as many details as you can about your site and the issue at hand so we can move on this as fast as possible.
