NextGen problem since moving site from subdirectory

  • Hi,
I’m having problems with NextGen since I moved my site from a subdirectory to the root. (Ie. from http://www.mysite.com/wp to http://www.mysite.com like it’s described here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory).

After that, my galleries disappeared from my pages. When I click on the button in the text editor (NextGen Gallery – attatch to Post) – the pop up is blank except for the Nextgen Gallery logo.

I checked in text mode and saw that the galleries referred to the old path (ie. http://www.mysite.com/wp/...), so when I updated this, the galleries showed up again.
But I can still not get the button (NextGen Gallery – attatch to Post) to work. It is still blank.

    I have resaved the permalinks.
Other pages, images, and menus are working fine.
I can see my galleries in the “manage galleries” section and I can upload images here. But I cannot put galleries on any pages, probably because NextGen gets the paths wrong. How han I fix this? I’m using NextGen 2.0.40.

Many thanks for a great plugin!

@mikael@forth.dk – We have corrected many different path issues we found while working on our latest beta version of NextGEN Gallery, have you given it a try to see if it sorts out these issues?

See this page for more information: http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/nextgen-gallery-latest-beta/

Hi… hope I can tag along on this thread. I’m using NextGEN v. 2.0.56… having the same issue. I downloaded the beta version referenced above, but still galleries and slideshows don’t work when I run from the root directory. I’ve seen something about a “reset” button in other forums, but for the life of me, I can’t find it. Any help? Thanks!
