# NextGEN Monoslideshow – replace default slideshow

 * In my Monoslideshow options I have checked the box “Replace default slideshow”.
   
   In NextGen Gallery options, Gallery Tab I have checked “Integrate Slideshow” 
   and in “Show first:” I have selected the radio button for Slideshow
 * I thought that combination would get me a gallery page that used Monoslideshow,
   but it does not. What am I missing?

    I’m not having trouble playing monoslide show on a page using the shortcode–
   so I know it works. But I really like the Toggle button where I can go back and
   forth from slide to thumbnails. Is there some other combination that I can use
   to get this functionality? Or some modification of the gallery.php that I can
   do?

 * Same for me, I’ve selected the option:
    Replace default slideshow [ √ ] You can
   use Monoslideshow for all existing slideshows.
 * But they are still the default slideshow.
    Any ideas?

 * I assume this is a bug since it’s listed as a feature and there’s only one way
   to turn it on and no other settings.
    Is this the best place to contact the author?
