Nextgen installation creates no sql db tables

    After DB crash i have to install nextgen gallery again. Now i have the problem, that nextgen reinstallation doesn’t create the tables

    wp_ngg_pictures
    wp_ngg_gallery
    wp_ngg_album

    in the DB again. I don’t know why, because i thought a reinstallation is like a first installation. Seems to be not.

    May somebody help me? THX.

    @ralfnator – NextGEN Gallery also stores database details in three other standard WordPress tables. If this information is present a “new” installation of NextGEN Gallery may fail. If you are working from a fresh database as well, you may need to review your WordPress database user privileges, it is recommended the database user have *ALL* privileges.

    I would recommend making a full site verified backup (if you do not already have one) and then look into the database at the following three tables for NextGEN Gallery references and remove those.

    Tables: wp_options, wp_postmeta, and wp_usermeta

    Once those are cleared you should be able to re-install NextGEN Gallery as though it is an actual “new” installation.
