Support » Plugins » [NextGen Gallery]Not calling my css and js

  • I added NextGen Gallery to my plugins and its a great plugin while I was initially tinkering with it I had an issue because I am using a custom theme I made and I need to call the css and js to get the stying to load and the image to open in a lgihtbox.

When I copied the css files from the plugins folder to my root css folder that worked pretty good but the js files that do the lightbox effect weren’t being called. I could just call them but I don’t want to call more stuff than I’m using (trying to be optimal).

For now I removed the css file because I don’t want redundant files unless there is a good reason.

Do I need to add calls to my css or js or is there a way that NextGen does that automatically?

What should I add to my gallery page template php to call what I need for nextGen Gallery?

  • Even when all my css and js are pointed correctly now (as far as I know) 5 js files and 1 css theme and and clicking the thumbnails opens their address rather than opening the image over the gallery (lightbox effect)

or let me know if I did somethign wrong posting this here…
The effect works in other themes but my custom theme is missing something.
