Support » Plugins » NextGen Gallery – Thumbnails/database update

  • After updating to the most recent verion of NextGen Gallery, I can’t get my thumbnails to load. Program uploads files, then hangs up at the window stating “Creating thumbnails.”

While upgradng, I received a message stating that I a script failed while updateing the database. It stated that I needed increase memory available to php.

I increased the available limit, but thumails won’t load. I suspect that the database has been updated.

    Help is appreciated.

  • I have the same problem, I’m no longer using NexGen
    for images, Slideshow hangs also.
Using Wp’s and Thesis default image displays

I would really like to hang in there with the gallery for its many features.

I have two blogs (or instances of WordPress) using the same hosting account (Blue Host).

The WordPress where I updated the gallery plugin AFTER I increased the php memory allocation works fine.

Thumbnails don’t load on the WordPress where I updated before and received an error stating that I didn’t have enough memory allocated to php while I was updating.

    Help will be appreciated.

    It’s FIXED!

After updating NextGallery on my other blog that’s located on the sae server, I never tried NextGen again on the first gallery.

My hunch is that updating the database for the program failed on the first due to lack of php mem. When I updated the program again the other blog, it successfully updated that database.

At any rate, I’m VERY happy!!!!
