    Hey everyone,

    Firstly, I’d just like to say a big “thank you” to Alex Rabe, the guy really is a genius. I am in love with nextgen gallery, however, I do have a little question.

    It regards the dimensions and the numbers of displayed thumbnails on a users blog. My site is fairly wide (950px) so I’d like to display 4 images across the width of the left box rather than the standard 3. I would also like to specify the width to be smaller than standard.

    The other adjustment was to the width of the thumbnails in the nextgen widget. I went into the nggwidget.php file and identified several instances specifying a width of “75” so I adjusted these to 100 in order to increase the size of the thumbnails, but it did nothing as it is still displaying a width of 75! I’ve had a look through the css but can’t find anything.

    So any help with adjusting these parameters would be much appreciated. Thanks again.

    Okay, I’ve had another look at it today. The width and height of the thumbnails is hardcoded into the inline css, but I still cannot find where the code is that subsequently controls the inline css. I’ve been through all the css and php files in the nextgen folder, and I can’t find it.

    Surely someone out there has changed these values? And I also cannot control the number of thumbnails shown in the gallery widget. I found the code in nggwidget.php (line 274) that specifies these values:

    // Init parameters check
    if (empty($options[$number]))
    $options[$number] = array(‘title’=>’Gallery’, ‘items’=>4,’show’=>’thumbnail’ ,’type’=>’random’,’width’=>75, ‘height’=>50, ‘exclude’=>’all’);

    and have changed them, but when I refresh…nothing. I’ve even tried reactivating the plugin, but still, nothing.

    Any help with this would be great.
