# NextGen Gallery Thumbnail error

 * When trying to upload new photos tonite, when I get to the step where it normally
   creates thumbnails, I get a new area I have not seen:
    Fatal error: Only variables
   can be passed by reference in /home/chulaleague/cherrywoodartfair.org/wp-content/
   plugins/nextgen-gallery/lib/meta.php on line 335
 * no thumbnails are created.

 * I have done more troubleshooting. This error is related to one specific photo
   out of 30. Each time the thumbnail creation step reached that one photo, it bombed
   out in the creation of thumbnails.
 * When I placed photos from that gallery on a Page, the Page threw the same error
   as above. I had to delete that photo from the gallery completely to get the Page
   to work.
 * I need to use that photo, can you tell me what to do?
