# NextGen Gallery: stripping JavaScript

 * I think I’m going to need to use NextGen gallery for an upcoming project, however
   I do not like the way images are displayed when you click on them.
 * Is there a way to remove all of the JavaScript or simply disable it? Then I could
   use a script of my choice, e.g. lightbox or fancybox.
